Christmas Vacation 2022

This Christmas actually felt like Christmas. Within my three week break. I was able to hangout with my friends as well as reunite with my best friend, who I haven't seen in 4 years, and celebrate New Years with my grandparents, uncle, aunts, and cousins.

While at home I was able to admire the beautiful things around me. On December 16, 2022 I went on a walk with my sister and saw different sized paw prints stamped on the damped dirt by the sidewalk. I thought it was cute and would make a cute photo so I took a picture of it (photo on the right side). On Decemeber 23, 2022, I was exiting my house through the back gate and my neighbors cat popped out and I was able to get a photo of it. It was my first time seeing this blonde, gray, and white furred cat with sage green colored eyes.

My favorite thing about Christmas is walking around my neighborhood and admiring the Christmas lights. On December 17, 2022, I was on my way to work and saw how beautiful the sky was and what made it even better was that the sun was going down and people started turning on there Christmas lights. I love the sky and I love taking pictures of it, because it changes each day.

My friends and I put together a Secret Santa Christmas party, on December 19. Everyone brought something to share as well as their gift for their person. I brought the spaghettini. After we finished eating we built gingerbread houses and voted on who's was the best. The photo on the right side is a picture of my gingerbread house.

The next day, December 20th, 2022 I went over to my boyfriend's house to decorate their Christmas tree and build a gingerbread house together which was pretty difficult as you can see by the picture. It was still very fun although I didn't come out perfect.

The following day, December 21st, 2022, my sister's and I went on a little adventure on a rainy after. We took the bus to the Block to watch a movie. The movie we chose was "Puss in boots: the last wish" because we grew up watching Shrek and puss in boots so we had to watching this one. After the movie was over we walking around. We headed home around 7pm on the bus.

On December 28, 2022 I went on a ramen date with my boyfriend at the old towne orange. It was my first time trying ramen and I honestly loved it. After eating ramen we went into the shops and I bought myself a plant. I've bought plants before but they always died but this time I won't be that careless and actually try to take care of it. So far it's healthy and growing. After looking at the stores we decided to walk around the neighbors to look at the different house and admire nature.

On December 31, 2022. I went to my cousin's house after work to celebrate New Years. When I arrived I was welcomed by their dog Blanca. We had a good time all united together. We ate, played music, and at the end played games. At 12am we ate our 12 grapes and my cousin shouted "Happy New Years! Welcome 2020!" which made us all laugh because she didn't mean to say 2020 but 2023.

On January 3rd, 2023 I was able to reunite with my best friend who moved to Santa Ana freshman year. It was raining so we didn't have many options but we really wanted to see each other. So we decided to go to Main Place Mall. We walked around and shopped a bit and at the end we went to round one and won each other a big headed corgi.

This was my Christmas vacation. Although I stayed close to home I was able to have fun and spend time with special people this holiday season.
