Dear Mr. Beaman,
Thank you for being the one keeping ceramics alive. Thank you for the dedication and effort you put into this class to make our experience unforgettable and enjoyable. Thank you for inspiring us to think out side the box and establish new techniques that will allow us to put together pieces we would of never thought of finding ourselves doing. Ceramics allows us to innovate our creativity through a way that is new too many. I'm very fortunate that ceramics was giving to me considering the fact that this is my senior year. Although this year is stressful ceramics has been one of the many reasons as to why I don't feel as stressed as others feel. I am grateful and thankful that I got the chance of taking ceramics. Carrying on, ceramics teaches us skills that will be useful in the near future as well as allowing us to apply transferable skills that we've gained previous years through other classes taken previously. TO SUM EVERYTHING ALL UP, THANK YOU, MR. BEAMAN FOR YOUR TIME AND DEDICATION. I AM THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL FOR YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE FOR US THE STUDENTS AND THE SCHOOL ITSELF!
The previous photos I've shared are the arts that El Modena High School has to offer. Starting with ceramics, those pictures where taken on my phone. The pictures following ceramics and ending with orchestra were taken with a Nikon D3300 camera, using an aperture of f/5.6, ISO of 200, and a shutter speed of 1/1,250 per sec. After taking these picture I was not necessarily surprised after taking these picture, I was more proud of the outcome and what I'd just accomplished. Photographing things I see and believe are worth photographing is what I enjoy doing. It is also the reason why I have no storage on icloud. Now giving the opportunity to use a digital camera instead of my phone I feel like I have more freedom in controlling the outcome and it makes me feel proud. I have not seen pictures taken in the ceramic's room or of a blue jay but I've seen many pictures from the fall festival that were taken by others that day. I didn't think is was going to be difficult in fact, I was actually excited to have the chance in photographing this event. Although I am proud of these picture I definitely do believe that I can alway improve and I will make sure that after every picture there is an improvement, as over time I will learn new techniques that will be useful.
